Came across as very rushed, abrupt with physical test of shoulder. When I questioned why he had decided to cut my bicep tendon since he was told i do carpentry b4 surgery and he appeared to have been offended. I expressed that I was in a great deal of pain in the bicep and he told me that I should be more concerned with my rotator cuff and not so much about my bicep. Said they often cut womens as men, especially younger men, care how their biceps look. This comes across as sexist and implies something that i found offensive. He proceeded to tell me Other countries cut both men and women's. Frankly I don't care what they do in other countries but I do care what is done to my body and that's what I was inquiring about and wanted to understand. I didn't appreciate his abrasiveness or demeanor today. Dr thiel did address my on-going pain concerns holding back my progress per my PT recommendation . Dr also made 2 suggestions for further exercise that I'm already working with my PT on.
