Doctor Engeron is a very thorough doctor in his explanations about your health. If you like a doctor to be direct and not beat around the bush then he’s your man. Dr Eric needs to be removed from the medical field. He is very rude to his patients and very inconsiderate. I was recommended to go to the CIS clinic by Dr at TGMC due to my visit with chest and arm pains. He walk in the room and first words out his mouth was, what your doing here? I explained I was told by Dr at the hospital to make appointment at the CIS clinic. Then he says you don't need to be here. So I asked your not going to treat me for my medical? He said no. He is very rude. I was warned by a friend that he did the same thing to and the next day she had emer6 open heart surgery. I'm stunned by his attitude towards people. I will be reporting g him to the medical association.

Came as a new patient with history of heart problems. Called and made an appointment 1 week before first appointment, gave the full history and where records could be pulled up when made appointment. While waiting for the appointment date had numerous check ins and confirmations. We were not told to bring paper copies, even though I asked what was needed, said they could pull history because it was connecting networks. Dr. Eric is the wrist doctor we have ever encountered concerning something as important as heart care. His attitude and personality as a “ heart doctor” needs to be evaluated concerning the care of patients that are receiving care. He came in the room unprepared and blamed and talked very disrespectfully as if it was our fault. It took everything in us not to put us act right on him! He is very unprofessional, disrespectful, no compassion,and lacks the dedication to provide comforting service. We ended up walking out and seek another doctor. Horrible horrible horrible .

He was focused on my weight. He also did not even look at my legs . I was coming for the circulation in my legs. He questioned why am ABI was done. He said you called and complained and they ordered that test when it should have been another. In his notes he said I was defensive. I am well aware of my weight and I am trying. I have been struggling with it for years. Darn right I was defensive. He made me feel so low that I wanted to cry. I will not do anymore testing and will have to think hard if I want to come back to CIS. On a positive note, all the admin staff and nurses are so friendly and nice.

She was sent to Ochsner main campus, a week later sent to Ochsner Jefferson, a week later Ochsner Raceland, her primary physician. Hectic not to say the least. My brother brought her in for a previously scheduled appointment. He was very unpleasent, "what do you want me to do for you ?". Well nothing because I am finding her a new Cardiologist. He disregarded what I was telling him of my heart trouble from covid & spoke of it as though it was nothing. Flat out told me I didn't have it bad at all, not even giving me a chance to say what happened to me & why I was referred by my doctor. He repeatedly was trying to shut me up & wouldn't let ne explain...He also repeatedly said my tests would all be normal & even if covid did cause damage, there's no way to treat it anyway...But yet insisted I take a bunch of tests. I refused only one bc my insurance wouldn't cover it...But he refused to check anything at all & not even do bloodwork unless I do that test...So I walked out & will never return to this place again. I didn't deserve that after all I been through & I feel no need to deal.w/a doctor like that.

This was the worst doctor's experience I have had in my entire life. He was very condescending. In fact, I ended up leaving the visit and circled back around to the desk area and walked upon him discussing my personal information with the staff and even when he knew I was there listening, he continued. Very prideful, arrogant and in direct VIOLATION of HIPPA! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

All was great. The only complaint is, after waiting in my car for my appt, I was told to sit in the lobby for about 10minutes. The whole reason I was in my car was to not be in the lobby with someone who may have covid.

Dr. Engeron definitely made the correct career choice. He is Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. He takes his time in asking the right questions and makes should you understand his answers. I am very fortunate to have such wonderful care from a GREAT Dr.
