He completed his cardiology training at Finch University of Health Science/The Chicago Medical School, Department of Medicine, and Division of Cardiology. He returned to Houma for his cardiovascular and peripheral training with CIS where he remains as a staff cardiologist.
As a National Merit Finalist, Dr. Engeron continued his scholastic excellence as an LSU Chancellor’s Scholarship recipient. He remained on the dean’s list in both undergraduate and medical school, was selected to Who’s Who in the South and Southwest, and chosen as Intern of the Year by LSU Medical Center.

He is usually very nice and good. However, today I do believe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I was not happy with everything he said. He was out of character
