Went in for a follow up after having a mild heart attack and having a stint inserted at 33. I understand the importance of medication right now but as a 33 year old I would eventually like to work to be off of medication if possible; but I felt like Dr Engeron dismissed that option for me and it was just medication being pushed. I asked him about dieting and if that would be a way to possibly get off of medication long term; And he once again he made that option seem impossible because of past patients but I’m only 33. I feel like for as young as I am diet and exercise should be of importance to the longevity to my health but Dr Engeron didn’t make me feel like that was of any importance just medication. Every patient and circumstance is different and I felt like he didn’t take my age and situation into consideration he’s just giving me the advice he would of his past patients who aren’t close to my age. So I will no longer see Dr Engeron and will seek another cardiologist.
