Dr. Eric B. Pifel earned his B.S. in Biology with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) from The Ohio State University (1991-1995), and his M.D. from Medical College of Ohio, Toledo (1995-1999). He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee (1999-2004), where he served as Chief Resident, followed by an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at Ohio State (2004-2005). Board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery (2007) and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (2009), he specializes in knee, hip, sport and joint-restoration care focusing on returning active patients to their prior level of performance.
