Eoin Donnellan, MD

Dr. Eoin Donnellan is an electrophysiologist at Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) in Lafayette.

Dr. Donnellan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University College Cork in Ireland, where he also earned his medical degree (MB, BCh, BAO). He completed an internal medicine program and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, which is also where he served as a Fellow in clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Since 2022, he worked at Tulane University as a Professor of Medicine in Cardiac Electrophysiology and he is currently completing a Master’s in Business Administration at Tulane.

Dr. Donnellan is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and cardiac electrophysiology. He has earned multiple research awards and has published over 150 manuscripts, abstracts and presentations during his career, demonstrating his passion for knowledge and learning.
