We discussed my reoccurring urology problems. They are interfering with the life I want to live. The doctor explained two treatments that could help me. I’ll have to think it over. I’m a senior and neither treatment will be easy for a woman my age.

Dr. Gerbie received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and earned her medical degree from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. Dr. Gerbie then completed her urology residency training at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
At Northwestern, Dr. Gerbie received advanced training and learned to treat the complete range of urologic conditions, including male and female voiding dysfunction, benign prostatic hyperplasia, male reconstructive urology, stone disease, urologic oncology, male infertility, and male sexual dysfunction. She obtained extensive training in minimally invasive urologic surgery including complex robotics and laparoscopy. While at Northwestern she had innovative research published in peer-reviewed urology journals and received numerous research awards.
She will be seeing patients in our Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, and Mount Prospect office locations. She is on the medical staff at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, St Alexius Hospital, and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Dr. Gerbie grew up in the Chicago suburbs and currently lives in the city with her husband David. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
