Absolutely the best doctor I have ever experienced. Dr. Ceisler is the perfect combination of warm, thorough, conscientious, brilliant, patient and honest. She provides exceptional care in an unrushed manner, answered all questions, even before they were asked. Dr. Ceisler explained every single detail with such confidence and expertise. She performed our 8 month old son’s eye muscle surgery and provided us with the greatest sense of reassurance and support. Dr. Ceisler is highly recommended. Absolutely the best. I’m an NP. Dr Ceisler is amazing. She is able to do a full retinal exam on a 3 year old and 4 and 5 year old while playing a duck on the wall and coordinating it with the child’s hand movements all at the same time. Amazing doctor, gives her opinion. Office immaculate. A man cleaning each spot anyone touched. Sends correspondence with pediatrician and copies the parent. She is fabulous. Sadly they dropped our insurance but I will pay out of pocket for this doctor though I wish I didn’t have to of course. She and her staff are great. Oh and they answer the phones also.

My son just had his new patient visit with Dr. Ceisler and she was great. She was very professional, friendly and she uses this really clever and adorable tool that is perfect for engaging with kids.

My son's appointment went well. There is a lot of waiting in the beginning. We were on time and I understand having to wait after his pupils are dilated, but we generally wait almost 30 minutes before being seen.

After graduating from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Ceisler completed a residency in ophthalmology at Harvard’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Subsequently, Dr. Ceisler completed a specialized fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Dr. Ceisler performs the majority of her pediatric eye surgery at the NYU Medical Center. In addition to NYU, Dr. Ceisler is an attending surgeon at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.
