Attended my first appointment with Dr. Jensen Otsu this past week. Her office staff were kind and professional. The nurse who checked me in was patient while going through my medication and personal information. Meeting the doctor she was friendly. She took the time to review my file, prior tests and documentation. She demonstrated patience while I asked several questions. I scheduled another appt and made her my primary hepalogist.
Very knowledgeable and answered my questions. However, my personal feeling is that the escalation of possibilities went entirely too fast. Trying to get a statistical probability or an understanding of what constitutes “normal” was difficult. I also feel that some of my personal experiences were overlooked and no further investigation was taken. All this being said, I understand that medical personnel are very limited in what they can actually say because of the constant threat of legal issues. Bedside manner was definitely a positive.
