Was in the office for two hours never saw the doctor but Was told to schedule an echocardiogram and a stress test I scheduled both and then the insurance company denied them because they couldn’t get any paperwork from the doctor. I might be looking into going somewhere else or maybe they need to stop scheduling so many patients Every day

Dr. Elsayed Mohamed, M.D. is a partner of Chicago Cardiology Institute and Director of Structural Heart and Minimally Invasive Cardiac Therapy Division. His areas of expertise include structural heart disease interventions including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter mitral valve repair using Mitraclip, left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman), closure of patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect, and complex coronary artery interventions including the use of mechanical circulatory support, endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm (EVAR), peripheral artery disease interventions for symptom relief, wound healing and limb salvage, and endovascular treatment of venous insufficiency. He then worked for several years as an interventional cardiologist in the Chicagoland area before joining the University of Wisconsin in Madison where he completed an advanced structural heart fellowship focusing on trans-catheter heart valve therapies.
