Dr. Murdock has been my cardio doc for several years. Mostly to monitor my generally 'minor' cardio issues. I had a major problem back in the spring of 2022, and he followed my progress and was extremely attentive. In the last month I had *another* major issue (both required surgery), and while I had a cardio-vascular surgeon perform both surgeries (same surgeon), Dr. Murdock is again following my post-op care. I met with him today, and was able to openly discuss the new meds recommended by the hospital. Yes, I DO trust his judgment, and feel comfortable discussing both my treatment and follow-up care!

While I was at Dr Murdock’s office for an echocardiogram he met me in the hallway and spoke to my husband and myself for about 5 minutes. He assured me he’d be reading my test and we would review together at my scheduled appt next week. A very knowledgeable, gentle & kind physician who inspires faith & confidence. I was really surprised that he even recognized me, called me by name and we were both wearing our masks. We had actually just been passing each other in the hall.

Waited an hour for my appointment which was frustrating, the appointment prior to this one- my husband and I were told we had an 8:00 am appt. from the guy that scheduled the next appt- only to show up, check in and sit for a half hour, before I went back up to the desk and questioned my waiting time- they then told me appt was at 9:00. If the staff knew that- why wouldn’t they say something? But… as much as the scheduling guy and front desk person seemed inadequate- Dr Murdock is very nice,reassuring and didn’t seemed rushed. Lastly, the gals that came in the room prior to the Dr, seemed very rushed, asking me questions while getting my blood pressure and flew out the door.
