Less than a 10 minute visit and Im pregnant and my hips are bothering me. Just wanted to be taken seriously. Ive never experienced being rushed by Dr. Leitman or shucked off, I was disappointed

Dr. Leitman was terrible. He has some of the worst bedside manner I’ve ever seen. He did not take my concerns into account at all. And he also has not helped me with my knee pain in any way. I’m definitely changing providers. I’ve had consistent knee pain for four years, having seen him for it four years ago. He prescribed more physical therapy. When I asked why he wouldn’t recommend imaging, he simply stated that there wasn’t anything wrong in my knee. I asked how he can know that without imaging and he simply said he can tell. I would’ve like imaging to ensure there isn’t some kind of tear. However, Leitman was adamant about his plan, not listening at all to my concerns. Completely dismissive and condescending. I also found it odd that he didn’t offer any type of immediate pain relief with injections? Clearly this is an ongoing issue. Happy to discuss further: Jaime Colletti at 201-988-4491

After waiting for about 45 minutes to be seen by the Dr. Leitman he did not even spend more than 5 minutes with me. He did not clarify the x-rays that was taken for my back or my knees. He did not even give me the chance to ask questions or to clarify the x-rays or to clarify the reason of the pain that I'm going through. He was in a rush to go see the next patient. It was a terrible experience.

I was there to see Dr. Leitman, he operated on me last month. He was in and out of my room in less than 5 minutes. I started to say something, he said foe me to start physical therapy and he'll see me in 6 weeks. That was it. I felt like just another number he operated on.

I recently had surgery and I was afraid to deal with anything else regarding pain, however Dr. Lehman and his staff reassured me that they would be able to tend to my minor situation, he provided a remedy and we are working through that now. we have been patients of Dr. Leitman for about 10 years and have been vert happy with him.

Knee isn't swollen but I should ice it. In pain but no RX or counseling on OTC meds. Given brace but not given any instructions on whether to wear 24/7 or take daily breaks. Can't walk, but I'm still able to desk work, guess I am supposed to crawl to my desk. Injury from a fall and twist, but 2 months later, it's just a sprain.

The entire experience was cold and clinical

I can’t say enough about Dr.Leitner. He’s the GOAT . I had a knee effusion that needed aspiration. I kept putting it off due to a horrible experience from another doctor. The PA who started exam left then the DR came in for 4 minutes asked if I was diabetic because he thought he saw me prior and made me move my arms and then said he was writing a new PT prescription. I had to ask if they were going to do an MRI and his response was , "Oh yeah we are going to do that as well, ". At the end another nurse/PA came in and just gave me papers with no explanation and said I needed to go to desk and walked out of room. I have been dealing with this for 9 months and I am glad to me able to get an MRI and finally resolve but I could have done all of this over the phone if your office does not want any interaction with the patient.

Dr Leitman is honest with you and doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear. He treats you with respect and let’s you make the decisions on how you want to proceed. I appreciate being told facts, allowed to make my own decision and not insulted if I chose differently then what they think that I should do.

Dr Leitman did a great job on my knee replacement. He has been encouraging and answers my questions, spending as much time as I need at each appointment.

1 I couldn’t get an appt until I had my MRI from Michigan. But he didn’t even bother to go over it with me. 2 he took a call in the room about shutters in his living room and getting measurements. I have more but not enough space!

I Was recommended to him for a cortisone shot for my knee but instead he told me my issue is the physical therapist issue and that he can’t do anything for me. Then had a nerve to tell me he wants to see me back at his office in a month? no thanks
