Dr. Ellen Ngo, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist who joined North Texas Eye Center in 2015 after completing her ophthalmology residency at Harvey and Bernice Jones Eye Institute at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock. During her time in Arkansas, the Eye Institute awarded her the chief resident of the year honor. Dr. Ngo earned her Medical Doctorate at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. She graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a concentration in Immunology and Pathology. She has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ngo is a published author with contributions in multiple journals such as Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology and the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. She has a particular interested in cataract surgery and treatment of various retinal disease. She and her husband, David, enjoy spending time with her family, friends, and their two fur babies. Her hobbies include running, traveling, and exploring nature.

This office is a well oiled machine. Love Dr Ngo and all the staff.
I really like Dr Ngo. I think she is knowledgeable, diligent and kind. I do however still believe that at least part of my large bill should be paid for from all the trauma, work lost and other expenses I had due to a viral infection after surgery.
Dr. Ngo is a very good eye Doctor and I trust her on what she says and she does a very good examination.
I am totally confident in Dr. Ngo and her staff is top notch. My thanks to Dr. Ngo and team.
