She graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology with a concentration in Immunology and Pathology. She has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, and Texas Medical Association. Dr. Ngo is a published author with contributions in multiple journals such as Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology and the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. She has a particular interested in cataract surgery and treatment of various retinal disease. She and her husband, David, enjoy spending time with her family, friends, and their two fur babies. Her hobbies include running, traveling, and exploring nature.

I drive more than 50 miles to see Dr. Ngo. She is the best ophthalmologist I’ve met in my 78 years of life. She has my glaucoma totally under control and my numbers are lower than they have been in years. She and her staff are efficient and there is very little waiting between procedures. Yesterday was typical. I was in and out before my scheduled appointment time! Dr. NGO is knowledgeable, compassionate, and personable. If you have a problem, go see her. You will receive comprehensive, quality care in record time.
Dr. Ellen Ngo, is an...Outstanding doctor, impeccable Eye Surgeon! Fantastic results! Dr. Ngo, is caring, compassionate, thorough and compleat professional. Both eyes had cataracts surgery. My vision is amazing. If you're needing any kind of eye needs. There's only one vision care center, you should consider. North Texas Eye Center of Plano Texas. The eye doctors there, are a few of the best here in North Texas!

I’ve seen Dr. Ngo for many years and she is wonderful, thorough and personable, I trust her with my care. Both offices are efficient, professional, everyone is friendly, it doesn’t get much better than this for a medical visit. Highly recommend!
