Dr. Elaine Simon, D.O., grew up in Monroe, LA. She came to Birmingham to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While there she was also a collegiate athlete, playing for the Division 1 Women’s tennis team. She then attended medical school at VCOM-Auburn and returned to Birmingham to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Brookwood Baptist Health. Dr. Simon is married with one daughter. She enjoys staying active with strength training and hot yoga, reading, baking, and Bottega. We are very happy to have her join our practice in August of 2025.

My initial consultation with a primary care physician involved a routine checkup and the establishment of ongoing care. Dr. Simon was both personable and professional, attentively listening to my concerns and addressing each one thoroughly. I look forward to maintaining this relationship over the years. As I mentioned to her in a clinical setting, we will grow together. Excellent doctor!

Amazing! Listen understood & confirmed things I suspected. Didn't dismiss my concerns or ideas of what I think is going on with my body. Great personality very informative & what she didn't no she educated herself on the spot. Wait time was very minimal was seen immediately.

I had a very good experience with my first time visit with Dr. SIMON. She was attentive to my.C/O. And took immediate action where needed, and she did not make me feel rushed, which was very much appreciated. I hope to continue years of a good relationship with dr Simon and her assistance. It was a sigh of relief to go into a smaller hospital with quick access in and out from parking. The lab and checkout was also quick and easy.
