Dr. Elaine Simon, D.O., grew up in Monroe, LA. She came to Birmingham to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While there she was also a collegiate athlete, playing for the Division 1 Women’s tennis team. She then attended medical school at VCOM-Auburn and returned to Birmingham to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Brookwood Baptist Health. Dr. Simon is married with one daughter. She enjoys staying active with strength training and hot yoga, reading, baking, and Bottega. We are very happy to have her join our practice in August of 2025.

Dr. Simon was very kind and knowledgeable with my problem. She was friendly and interested and I was impressed with her as my doctor was not available to see me. She assured me and gave me a prescription that is already helping me. I feel that if someone is trying to find a primary doctor she would certainly be a great choice.

My initial consultation with a primary care physician involved a routine checkup and the establishment of ongoing care. Dr. Simon was both personable and professional, attentively listening to my concerns and addressing each one thoroughly. I look forward to maintaining this relationship over the years. As I mentioned to her in a clinical setting, we will grow together. Excellent doctor!
