Dr. Elaine Simon, D.O., grew up in Monroe, LA. She came to Birmingham to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While there she was also a collegiate athlete, playing for the Division 1 Women’s tennis team. She then attended medical school at VCOM-Auburn and returned to Birmingham to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Brookwood Baptist Health. Dr. Simon is married with one daughter. She enjoys staying active with strength training and hot yoga, reading, baking, and Bottega. We are very happy to have her join our practice in August of 2025.

Dr. Simon is the absolute best! She hears me and i feel so comfortable in expressing my health concerns with her. I also know she wants the best for me, she is very intelligent and knowledgeable and i simply love having her as my Primary Care Doctor!🙏🏼

Dr Simon and her nurse Kiki are absolutely amazing. My husband and I truly enjoyed talking with them. I was nervous because I’ve had a bad Doctor before. Dr Simon and Kiki made us feel comfortable talk about things. They made us laugh and that’s rare in a Dr office. They made me feel anything is possible. They didn’t put me down for my weight and made a goal for us to get too. They are truly amazing.
