Dr. Elaine Simon, D.O., grew up in Monroe, LA. She came to Birmingham to earn her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While there she was also a collegiate athlete, playing for the Division 1 Women’s tennis team. She then attended medical school at VCOM-Auburn and returned to Birmingham to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at Brookwood Baptist Health. Dr. Simon is married with one daughter. She enjoys staying active with strength training and hot yoga, reading, baking, and Bottega. We are very happy to have her join our practice in August of 2025.

Dr. Simon takes time to listen to what I’m experiencing and uses her medical expertise to treat and advise me in a way that we’re both confident in. It’s hard to find a Dr who hears what you’re saying so I genuinely appreciate her for listening and moving accordingly. She’s is a great Dr!

Dr. Simon is the best. She is attentive and listens. She is very thorough and makes sure she addresses your concerns and she do what is best for your health. You do not have to wait all day during your appointment .I have recommended her to my friends and we all love her.
