Dr Song and his staff are so compassionate and understanding. They listen to you and explain the issues so you understand. Dr Song also shows you the imaging and explains your conditions. He is conservative in his treatment and gives you options. Well deserved 5 stars!

I made it emphatically clear I did NOT want a spinal operation but schedule a spinal injection.at the outset. After six weeks , needless meeting with two physicians and co-pays I was handed a sheet of paper referring me to a doctor who does exactly what I had asked for initially. Wake up, you only successfully waisted a lot of time unnecessarily. Shame on your organizational incompetents' !!!

Let me just say this. I have dealt with lumbar back pain for 22 years. I had a 3-level microdiscectomy in 2000. I have been on narcotics to manage that pain for 22 years. I have resisted spinal fusions for 15 years due to fears of experiencing any of the negative outcomes I had heard about. Then, one day, a good friend told me about his experience with Dr. Song. So, I went to visit with him and he gave me my options. That was 3 years ago. This past May, I went back and told Dr. Song, "I am ready to do this." And 4 months later, I was in a surgical center. Fast forward 60 days later. I am OFF the drugs. I FEEL FANTASTIC. My pain level is a 1 - it hasn't been below a "6" in 9 years!!! Today, I thanked Dr. Song for his work. For giving me my life back. I understand the skepticism, trust me, I do. But when you are ready, go see Dr. Song. You will NOT regret it.

I went to a supposedly specialist because I needed answers, I was told many people live with much worse pain than what I might be experiencing. He told me to go to physical therapy, I didn’t need a specialist for that kind of advice. I took a disk from an MRI, I don’t believe, I don’t feel that he looked at the disc and actually saw the condition of my neck. Either way I won’t be seeing Mr. song again !

This man saved me from ending up in a Wheelchair. He fixed my neck and he fixed my back. Best orthopedic surgeon that I ever met. And he is a wonderful Person on top of that.

Didn't review any paperwork I completed with symptoms, areas affected & level of pain. Didn't ask about lifestyle or effects back pain is having on day-to-day functioning. Didn't feel very thorough for an initial exam.

He listened to me and was the first doctor in almost a decade to take my pain seriously and give me an actual solution instead of just “kicking the can down the road” so to speak. He found a problem in my back that other doctors had ignored/not been able to diagnose and was able to fix it with surgery. Even after surgery when I developed blood clots he took them seriously and referred me to other specialists to rule out any additional problems. He isn’t the stereotypical “slice and dice” surgeon, but he actually cared for me as a patient and a person. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs a spinal surgeon, he is skilled, kind, and caring.

He is an excellent back surgeon. Be prepared with questions on visits. Ask questions, if not, your visit will be short, sweet and to the point. Not a social butterfly, but very informed and nice.

Was seen right away. He came in to room promptly. Explain what was wrong and what tests that will be done and then from there plan of action.

Although he did do a ct scan and x-ray of my spine, I did not get the MRI that I was hoping for so that I could see if other discs in my lumbar were herniated or not. Because I have an artificial disc in my lumbar, Dr. Song said that any additional surgeries would be too risky for me, so there was no point in doing an MRI. He also said that based on the other imaging tests that there was nothing he could do for me. He was passively aggressively combative. Go somewhere else.
