Dr. Edward Schnitzer, M.D. specializes in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. In 2011, he established his practice, Mobile Physical Medicine and Wellness. His practice focuses on the non-surgical treatment of neck, back, and other spine and neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Schnitzer manages patients with Opioid Use Disorder using Buprenorphine (i.e., Suboxone) as a medical treatment. He treats migraine headaches with botox injections and other medicines. Additionally, he uses electrodiagnostic testing to diagnose conditions such as carpal tunnel and other neuropathies.
Dr. Schnitzer attended medical school at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. After working as an attending physician in the Emergency Department in New York. He chose to pursue a second residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation which he completed at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. He then moved to Mobile, Alabama where he has lived and practiced medicine since 1997.

They're all good and friendly the person that i assist today he is verry good he knows how to make me comfortable.he knows how to handle my grumpyness.
Dr Schnitzer takes time to talk to me. He ask how am I doing as well as what I might need.
Very professional and understanding doctor
I don't have a problem with Dr Schnitzer's medical abilities. It's his "bedside manner" that I feel needs improvement; gruff & somewhat abrupt. At my 1st appt, he immediately treated me as if I were in there to get drugs for recreational use.
Very good bedside manner’s. You can really talk to him
Very efficient dr & when he smiles it will relaxes me.
