My experience today was probably the most disappointing medical visit that I have had in my 84 years❗️Dr. Magur was rude and arrogant, did not explain the results of my X-ray in a helpful manner, and spent less than five minutes consulting with me. As the widow of a physician, I have met many physicians…my meeting with Dr. Magur was the most unpleasant and unprofessional experience that I ever have had. He demonstrated NO compassion or interest in my situation ❗️

If only a 9:20 appointment wat not a 9:50 appointment.

Very nice and obviously smart and quick to understand my issues

Dr. Magur was very thorough in his examination, diagnosis and ultimate recommendations and prescription for PT and pain. Like most physicians today in large practices, he is also hurried and needs to get to the next patient. One needs to be prepared with questions and listen closely in order to respond with questions. I have no qualms in recommending him to other patients in need of an orthopeadic ankle specialist.

Unlike many surgeons, Dr. Magur does not believe that surgery is always the solution. He tries other potential resolutions before recommending surgery.

I have been seeing Dr. Magur for several years for a foot problem. He tried numerous conservative treatments before recommending surgery which I appreciated. He is knowledgeable, honest, and up to date on available options.

Thorough and honest

He seemed very knowledgeable but acted as though he was in a hurry to get on to the next patient. Rattled off a lot of info but didn’t seem too concerned about whether I understood what he was saying. I had to advocate for myself and ask lots of follow up questions. He gave me a prescription to get an MRI and referred me to a radiologist, but that office’s phone line wasn’t working (disconnected callers after a few transfers to an answering service). When I told his reception staff and nurse that I was unable to reach their recommended radiologist, they weren’t helpful and acted as though it was just my problem to deal with. All in all, just OK — and I would expect more from a high-end practice group that doesn’t take insurance for office visits.

Dr Mager is kind and he is genuine when he deals with his patients. He solved a problem with my foot/ankle after the original surgeon wanted to go back in there and try to solve the problem. I really appreciate what he did for me and highly recommend him.

Why are appointments scheduled so close together? I waited nearly 45 minutes past my appointment time to be seen. My time is as important as the doctor’s and the ability of the office to make money.

Magur didn't exam me or asked any questions of me. Looked at my x-rays, told me I had a broken leg - which I already knew from the emergency room - gave no advice and said come back in a month. He was in the exam room for less than a minute. He just didn't care. I have since seen another doctor and the experience was entirely different. I received a thorough exam, lots of tips to get the swelling down, and a reasonable expectation of what to expect in the following weeks.

Helped guide me to conservative options and additional testing to more specifically identify the cause of my issues. After being rushed to a surgical option by another practice I feel much more confident in the advice and care I am now receiving.

I had a bad experience with my first achilles surgery with another practice. After interviewing 5 new surgeons, I chose Dr. Magur. He was caring, understanding, cautious and instilled confidence.

My appointment was at 8:50am but the doctor didn' t see me until almost 10:00 am, approx. an hour wait. Saw the doctor for 5 minutes and then he turned me over to the medical assistant who was left to answer all my queries. unsatisfactory visit.

Kept me waiting an hour. Talked to me for less than 10 minutes and I don’t think he even looked up at me. Indifferent and not present in the moment. Hopefully his advice will be a help.
