Dr. Edward Frankel is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has provided skilled, compassionate, and ethical care to patients for more than 20 years. He was drawn to the specialty of orthopedic medicine for the opportunity to help make patients’ lives better and specifically chose hand surgery because he was intrigued by the high level of anatomic detail within this specialty. Dr. Frankel views the hands as key to a patient’s sense of self, impacting their ability to make a living and participate in recreational activities. He, therefore, feels privileged to help patients manage such a critical component of their anatomy that impacts their lives so profoundly. He attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York, completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina, as well as a fellowship at the Hand Center of San Antonio in Texas.

Amazing provider
Dr Frankel has successfully performed 3 hand surgeries (trigger finger, carpal tunnel etc) for me and I just scheduled another. He is very kind and efficient and an excellent surgeon.
He gave me an immediate solution for my hand and alleviated my fears of possibly getting surgery should the need arise. He's a very good doctor!
Very thorough and so very knowledgeable. I loved how he explained things and knew each area of the wrist. Wish I would of seen him months ago
