Dr. Frankel listened attentively to my concerns, performed an in depth evaluation, and provided a clear and concise explanation of my health condition. His treatment was on the spot which was most appreciative, preventing the need for another appointment.

Personal, professional and almost pain free shot!

My appointment was a total waste of both time and money. He imparted no insight. I left without learning anything about the problem that led me to making an appointment in the first place.

Good exam. Listens to concerns. Considers various treatments besides surgery.

Zero bed size manner. Never met my eyes, could have cared less if I was there. Never give me a diagnosis after the Xray until I asked. Worse, he was brought a syringe of liquid but didn’t tell me what it was NOR what he was going to do until I asked as he sprayed my hand. When I asked (again!)THEN he said that was numbing for shot of ?? (medical name of course I don’t know). Said “6 weeks” as he was @ the doorway leaving already! I found him in hall & asked “what I do if doesn’t work?” He repeated “6 weeks” & walked NO INSTRUCTIONS, no explanation what it was/how it’d work? I’m blindly believing it’s going 2 relieve painful symptoms I suppose. Geez, if I need further treatment I don’t want him BUT don’t want to be labeled a complainer.

He showed me my xray and explained in detail what all my options are including living with my condition to exactly what could be done with surgery.

Knew exactly what my issue was. He gave me a shot and showed me an exercise to do and recommended a brace.

Dr Frankel was so nice. He was thorough, knowledgeable and explained everything about my problem to me so that I understood. He spent all the time I needed for the exam and X-rays. He has a gentle touch and carefully physically examined my arm. I recommend him highly.

Dr Frankel has administered a couple cortisone shots and they have worked for the most part. We’re hoping I’m on the better side of the 50% success rate, but if not, I am confident he’d do a great job if I need surgery.

This man is a gem! He took out a Giant Cell tumor that was wrapped around my ulner nerve in 2007. I am an artist and no other surgeon would touch me. He is humble, a truly nice person and answered all my questions. I came in last month 6/2023 with a tendon issue and he gave me a couple of shots and the issue seems to be resolved for now. This is my hand guy and he should be yours too!

I’ve had one appointment with Dr. Frankel and was very impressed with my thorough exam. Dr. Frankel thoroughly explained my treatment options for a thumb and forefinger. While he explained surgeries that would “fix” my issues, he recommended against them at this time. In the final analysis, he showed me a thumb brace available on Amazon for $10 and recommended I wear it at night. If that doesn’t help, cortisone injections in the thumb joint might be tried. Surgery is WAY down the road. My kind of doctor - thorough, knowledgeable, no nonsense, and recommending least invasive options.

Does it get better than Dr. Frankel? Probably not, a true professional but also very personable and friendly. Sometimes doctors lose those traits and patients can be made to feel like just a number. This is not the case with Dr. Frankel and I would recommend him to anyone.

Excellent Doctor, very easy to talk to, caring, my ortho Dr forever!

Dr frankel is amazing but his nurse was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her.

Personable, knowledgeable and very willing to give both context and options for any situation. His manner is comforting yet professional. Based on prior experience I trust him - with both hands.

service was very good but when I tried to call later and ask a question Dr. Frankel was not in the list to doctors to ask an asistant a question. wanted to know if I should not soak hand in pool for awhile or a day after shots in each hand

This was the first time I saw him. He took the time to explain the x-ray to me and provided his exam comments to the tech that was capturing his notes. He provided options and actually listened to me and treated the way I requested. I'm certain given the treatment that I'll be back in some time to see him as what I have will not go away but I'm ok with that. Another positive is I did not have to wait an hour to see him and I will. I was in and out within one hour of my appointment time. Good work Dr. Frankel!

He performed surgery on my left hand and provided me with extremely clear instructions for post-op care, rehab and made me aware of how to change my bandages, if/when I would feel pain, etc. honestly the best experience I have ever had speaking with a doctor.
