Originally from Albany, Georgia, Dr. Edward King, M.D., received an A.B in biochemistry from Dartmouth College and an M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed a urology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore and has practiced in Ocala and The Villages, Florida since 1996. Dr. King is a past president of the Marion County Medical Society and a former Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the Ocala Regional Medical Center. He has held numerous leadership positions at the Munroe Regional Medical Center (now Advent Health Ocala) including Chief of the hospital’s medical staff and vice-chairman of the Munroe Medical Center Board of Directors.

Love Dr. King but he is overbooked and I don’t love waiting an hour and 15 minutes to see him. This is a constant issue. Last three times I have waited an hour

I’ve only been to see him once, but everything moved along real good and the office and the staff was very nice as well. He addressed my needs and listen to them as well.
