Also any time I have ever needed him and had to call for a possible problem after hours he has instantly told me to meet him at the ER to check everything out. He is very thorough and the best Gastroenterologist I’ve ever had.

Dr. Edward J. Barbarito, M.D., received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Rutgers University and his MD from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at New Jersey Medical School and served as a Chief Medical Resident at Hackensack University Medical Center. In addition to gastroenterology fellowship training at New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Barbarito also completed an additional year of advanced therapeutic endoscopy training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Barbarito treats a full range of gastrointestinal disorders, including gastroesophageal reflux disease and colorectal cancer screening with colonoscopy.
