I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Lombard, Illinois and I earned my B.S. degree in biology at the University of Illinois, Champaign/Urbana in 1998. I continued my studies at the University of Illinois in Chicago, obtaining my medical degree in 2002.
Following my graduation, I completed an internship and pursued advanced orthopedic training as part of my residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. In addition, I completed another year at a subspecialty training program, or fellowship, in hand surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
My practice is focused on diseases and disorders of the hand and upper extremity. It is my mission to provide all my patients excellent service, as well as compassionate care. I always strive to provide you the same high quality of orthopedic care that I would offer to a member of my family.
I am active in continuing education and have spoken at numerous lectures, made presentations, and have authored an orthopedic research publication.
In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy weightlifting, jogging, tennis, and playing golf.

I really like Dr Schwartz I feel he explained everything to me so I could understand it he answered all my questions and most importantly I believe he cares about his patients and really wants to help all and I haven't had much of that from other doctors so thank you so very much Dr Schwartz I'm putting all my faith in you
On our first visit, Dr. E. Schwartz explained all options, then left the decision to us. He was an exceptional listener who answered all questions and requests.
Hard to rate someone I didn't see. Saw Mike Weedman, he was great. Answered questions, explained what was going on.
He always explains everything in detail and term I can understand.
I was actually supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Schwartz, but never saw him or no one mentioned him or explained why a PA met with me. There was nothing wrong with the PA, but I purposely had delayed my appt a week just so I could meet with the doctor and that never happened.
I just Thank You immensely for your time and patience with ME
He is excellent at his job.
I really liked Dr. Schwartz, although my last two visits are with his assistant and not him directly. Not a fan of feeling pushed down, like I'm not a patient anymore and more of a reoccurring nuisance.
Dr Schwartz, his surgical team, his nurse and assistant are cordial, knowledgeable and caring. I am in good hands whenever I am in their care. Wait times are small.
Defenelly That was not that doctor that i saw it....the doctor that i saw was a very young person...
