DR. WITKOWSKI’S APPROACH TO TREATING PATIENTS
Taught by the Best to be the Best
I’ve been blessed to have learned my trade from some of the best orthopaedic surgeons in the country. I completed extra fellowship training in sports medicine and joint replacement surgery with a pioneer in the field. I learned about the unicompartmental knee from the surgeon who developed it. I’ve been really fortunate, so I honor my teachers by doing the best job I can for my patients. I always try to explain their options in plain language, then discuss the best treatment based on their needs.”
The Value of an Outstanding Education
“Though I always look for nonsurgical solutions first, there are times when surgery is the best or only answer. This doesn’t always mean the latest technique; sometimes the tried-and-true methods work better for some patients than more recent techniques. My medical education helps me make a proper diagnosis for each patient based on his or her needs. I deal with injuries nonsurgically whenever practical to make sure your care is safe, effective and comfortable.”

I have always received excellent care from dr wilkowski to his staff. I will always recommend them!!!
First time having an appointment was 4/15/25, 4:15 appt, was seen at 5:10pm, no explanation given as to why a hour late. Nursing and Xray staff were very welcoming, friendly. Doc was less, didn’t even introduce himself to me as a new patient, straight to review of xrays, order a MRI, and out the door. No nice to meet you, no thank you, no nothing. I have been seeing orthopedic doctors since 1996 and this was the first experience where I felt like a number, an animal on the line of animals passing through. I can only hope moving forward in the process as a new patient who will probably need some sort of surgery, I will be made to feel more welcome. I mean, I am trusting this doc to invade my body invasively, I feel like a handshake and introduction was warranted, its the professional and right way to do things. I have heard nothing but great things from others but I didnt get the warm feelings as they did apparently.
Dr Witkowski was very clear about everything we talked about and made sure I understood what was wrong with my issue. He has a great assistant also that works besides him.
Excellent in all areas! A skill led surgeon with compassion and integrity!
