We had a wonderful experience at OrthoNC in Wendell Falls, and I especially want to recognize Dr. Edgar Correa and his assistant, Janeth, for the exceptional care they provided to my daughter. They were professional, kind, patient, and genuinely warm throughout the entire appointment. What a wonderful team!
The ladies at the front desk were also incredibly friendly and helpful. They took the time to answer all of our questions and made us feel welcomed and respected from the moment we arrived.
I also truly appreciate that the team is bilingual. For Hispanic families, being able to communicate comfortably and understand everything clearly makes such a meaningful difference.
I highly recommend OrthoNC Wendell Falls, especially Dr. Correa, Janeth, and the entire team. Thank you for making our experience so positive and making my daughter feel so comfortable and well cared for!

He is an excellent doctor! This was my 4th or 5th procedure with Dr. Correa and each time he has taken great care of my feet. I’m very happy with how the surgeries have improved my overall ability to walk pain free.

Dr. Edgar Correa, D.P.M. attended West Virginia University as well as the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico and majored in Chemistry. Upon early acceptance, he attended and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in the top 10% of his class. His postdoctoral training includes surgical residencies at Community General Hospital in Thomasville, North Carolina and Florida Hospital Health System located in Orlando, Florida. During this time Dr. Correa trained in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery/trauma, sports-related injuries, and general foot and ankle care.
After residency, Dr. Correa practiced in Orlando for approximately 3 years before relocating to North Carolina in 2002. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society. He is also fluent in both Spanish and English.
Dr. Correa currently resides in the Triangle area with his wife and two daughters. During his personal time, he enjoys golfing, skiing, soccer, traveling and spending time with his family.
