Very thorough, great bedside manner, and made me feel listened to, heard, and everything was addressed. It's been a long time since I felt this good after a Dr appointment!

Calm, professional, a "real person." Puts you at ease. Answers questions, takes what time is needed, goes above and beyond. Knowledgeable. Recommends action as appropriate but doesn't push anything unnecessary. Still treats you as worth his time and your questions as worth answering even if he's not going to do surgery (unlike certain other orthopedics I've seen). All of this is extraordinarily rare nowadays, especially in medicine. He achieves much more for patient satisfaction in less time due to all of these characteristics.
If you do that thought experiment of building a dream team for a space mission or desert island disaster scenario, include him both for what he brings as a person and a professional.
