Dr. Kilbride is the very best! He cares so much about the patient’s health and recovery goals pre-surgery, during and post-surgery. This will be my second total knee replacement with him.

Dr Kilbride has operated on me successfully a few years ago. I once again have lower back pain that I feared was related to my past surgery but he took an ex ray and then prescribed meds and PT. He listened attentively and asked questions. I hope I get better soon.

Surgery and post op have gone really well. Am very thankful for the care I have received. Dr. Kilbride did a great job on the surgery and Chad Fontana, PA-C has done wonderfully with my follow up care.😊

They truly listened to me, understood my goals, and explained everything clearly. I had a complicated meniscus tear with loose (roaming) cartilage, and they gave me a realistic, confident prognosis while ultimately putting the decision in my hands so I could get back to being me again.
From the initial visit through surgery and follow-up, the team was prepared, efficient, and took care of business while making me feel supported every step of the way. I couldn’t ask for better care and highly recommend Dr. Killbride and his entire staff.

After 5 years in Dallas, Dr. Kilbride was awarded a fellowship in sports medicine and reconstruction at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute. He then became a transplanted Austin native in 2002, where he has practiced orthopedic surgery since.
He has served as the head team physician for Texas State University, numerous high schools, and provided event coverage for national and international events here in Austin. He has also participated in the orthopedic trauma call panel since his arrival here in Austin in 2002.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kilbride enjoys family time and an active lifestyle, including running, skiing, and watersports. His 3 boys have all been NCAA college athletes and he has always been their biggest cheerleader.
