Dr Maloney was professional, kind & caring. He listened to our concerns. He was thorough. He referred us to someone else because the problem we saw him for was not a spine issue.

Very efficient and friendly. He explained the procedures and any questions questions that I might have about them. He also explained how the procedure went to my husband/driver while I was in recovery. So far, I only have a mild pain from the procedure itself, but the excruciating pain that I was experiencing daily does not seem to be in evidence. My back is getting tired after moving and standing up for awhile, but this is only the day after my procedure, so I think that is understandable. Hopefully my back will continue to have no more excruciating pain in my back and left leg. Thank you, Dr. Mahoney!

Like Mahoney but am getting mixed messages from him. Previous visit with Mahoney he told me I would need a long rod in my back but he didn’t feel it was in my best interest. My July appt he recommended an epidural, which I have already had to no avail, but then said the next approach would be surgery. When I said he had told me previously that I would need a long rod, he motioned to the skeletal sample and, with his fingers, said it would only be about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. I am confused and considering a second opinion!
