Dr. Purvis previously worked as the chief of non-invasive cardiology at Keesler Medical Center. He was an instructor in medicine for five years at F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. He also practiced in Panama City, Florida at Tyndall AFB Hospital as an internal medicine physician.
He served as a major commissioned officer of the U.S. Air Force for 14 years. He was awarded a commendation medal in 1997 by Tyndall Air Force Base.
Dr Purvis is very nice, he talk with me about what was going on. I am well pleased having him for my cardiologist.
I am retired, and time is very important to me!!!! , not have to sit in a waiting room an hour and then another hour in the exam room is a plus, every one is so nice and professionally my visit is actually a pleasure
Purvis is alway friendly and listening to what one has to say. He ask questions throughout the vist and seems to care about his people he makes suggestions and always ready to listen.
