Such a thorough Dr. but late to 2 aptmts! Would’ve been nice if staff could’ve lmk! Also wish there had been better communication.PT required, but not informed til surgery wk.Cant sched a therapist for mnth after! Could’ve set up asap if notified earlier. I’m sure I’m not single occurrence

Sat for an hour and a half waiting for the doctor and it wasn’t even mentioned. My time was not considered which is quite upsetting when you take time away from work and pay what we pay for healthcare appointments for just a few minutes of a doctor’s time. This would never be acceptable in another industry and I don’t find it to be acceptable in medicine.

I had a complex meniscectomy and meniscus repair surgery almost a year ago.
Dr Khalfayan is an excellent surgeon with an incredibly rare, unhurried bedside manner. At every appointment, he takes the the time to explain things till I was satisfied.

I had led a very competitive life of sports and physical labor that has taken its toll on my body resulting in 15 surgeries. Dr. K is by far and away the best experience I have ever had. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Khalfayan and his staff at OPA to anyone.
Dr. E. Edward Khalfayan, M.D. is an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine, who the region’s professional athletes trust and rely on. Dr. Khalfayan’s earned his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Oakland Naval Regional Medical Center, Orthopedic Surgery. He then finished his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at University of Philadelphia, Graduate Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery Fellow, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and many more. He has been an orthopedic team physician for the Seattle Seahawks since 1996 and for the Seattle Mariners since 2006. Dr. Khalfayan is one of two orthopedic surgeons in the US who are head team physicians for both an NFL and an MLB team.
