Very behind schedule

I’m assuming he did a good job with my injection. Prior to the injection, while waiting, he came into my room, said what he was going to do, put a mark on my back and that was it. Didn’t ask if I had any questions or concerns. The whole procedure felt like an assembly line.

Injection was painless. However, did not understand/really listen to MY ongoing pain needs/pain management & refused to give me pain medication. Quoted statistics that did not pertain to me. I'm not someone else - I'm me & not some young person looking for a fix. When will doctors pay attention & really listen to what a patient has to say + believe them!

Dr Ward is the best. I spent years doctoring elsewhere and getting little relief. Dr Ward and his team presented options and gave me hope! Thank you.

The dr seemed to be in a big hurry and didn’t satisfy me for what I needed done I probably will not see him again because it’s very hard to make appointments there and the hospitality was terrible but the front desk secretary was incredibly helpful thanks to her I stayed for my appointment

This doctor gets an F rating on patient/doctor communications. He readily admits that he is "too busy" to answer more than 1 or two questions. I received no post procedure instructions although I received a document that said that I received "discharge education/instructions" . I didn't! I would love to get a better idea of what to do, when, and how. If I need to get any follow-up procedure, I will request a different doctor.

He was way to fast and didn't let the novocain take before finishing. Also he has no compassion for his work.

My procedure was unknown to me. I'd never had a nerve block injection. Dr Ward and the entire staff was helpful and cordial. (The preop area was extremely COLD. I shivered the entire wait.)

He was to busy flirting with all the young girls talking about thier ages. It took me 2 hours for 2 injections that were excruciating painful. I walked out with stroke level blood pressure. Never will come back here again. I need a pain stimulator NOT torture shots that have never worked for me in over 20 years...this is NOT medical help...this is absolutely NOT caring about your paintings what so ever..Just because you think that I do NOT matter...I DO MATTER! Never come back ever!!!

Only meet once

A week ago I was given two steroid injections. Miraculous results I was able to travel almost 1700 miles over 4 days. Every day the pain is better. Super job, Dr Ward Thanks so much. You changed my life

I have been seeing Dr ward for a few years now and he has helped me so much to understand my pain, he is a good listener and understands my pain affects my daily life , he is compassionate and easy to talk to . He has helped me to manage my pain and includes me in the decision making for treatments that work best for me . I can tell he really cares about me and my well being for he always asked me how I am doing and then he really listens to me and is trying to understand how I really feel and sometimes him just understanding my pain and listening to me is better then the medications and procedures I get. Pain just doesn't affect me physically but mentally as well. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field and always lets me be included in decision making for what treatments work best for me. Thank you Dr ward and Ispine for helping me to having a better quality of life!!

No exam, left confused on why I wasn’t getting trigger point injections and was getting the nerve block things. Horrible experience with the first person who came in, called me a liar about my mri. Dealt with that whole situation. Just awful.

Dr. Ward takes the time to listen to patient concerns; explains everything and invites questions; is thorough and is an excellent communicator & physician.

Dr. Ward is a very dediicated personal, and knowledgeable in his field. He cares about his clients.

He stood the entire 4 min that he was in my room. For most of the time he was standing near the door like he had to get the heck out of the room. That was sad for me because I was waiting for this appointment for a long time.

He was very polite, concerned and helpful understanding what was wrong and the options I had.

Dr Ward is such a thorough Dr. He truly cares about his patience. He has been very good, slowly weaning me down on my meds yet he listens to me if I feel that I can’t go down this month. He ACTUALLY listens to how I’m feeling, takes what I have to say into deep consideration and goes from there. Couldn’t ask for a better Dr that clearly listens to what and how I’m feeling and actually works with me and not against me!

Finally got some answers

On my first visit, Dr. Ward gave me a nerve block that made my headaches go away. The block was not as long-acting as I would have liked, but everyone is different.

Always provides answers or suggestions for my concerns.

i am still having trouble....but i' patient

He flew in the door after I waited for over an hour, too busy to be bothered with me. He didn’t even get to know me for a few minutes at least. He talked AT me not to me. I didn’t even get to talk. He made rude, condescending comments. I felt disregarded and he couldn’t leave fast enough. I don’t even know if I can be helped and didn’t leave with any type of hope. I have lived with my pain for six years and this was my first glimmer of hope for help. I left feeling aweful and confused. I have another appointment on 2/22 and requested another doctor. He made the worst first impression of someone in the medical field I have ever had, and I have been to too many to count.

He had seen my MRI do you want my problem was and gave me a couple different options for a course of action.

I've always found Dr Ward to be a good listener and willing to do what he can to make my pain less so that I can enjoy my life more.

The doctor could not read the x-rays that were sent from my primary physician 12 days earlier. Wanted to schedule new x-rays. The office should have requested that legible x-rays were forwarded from the beginning, so that we could proceed with my treatment. I am now waiting for the physician to submit a request to the insurance company to authorize new x-rays. Extremely disappointed.

He was very polite but didn't inform me on how invasive the procedure was going to be and if I had known this I would of understood why I was and still am in so much pain, had this done be for just not this much at one time so I couldn't understand why the pain was so severe for so long

I felt I could trust Dr Ward-that’s a biggie 1) took time to explain and show me with visuals where and why I was having back problems 2) doesn’t push surgery or drugs 3) remembers me at each visit

I just wanna say Dr. Ward is a genuinely caring Physician, and i feel really completely safe, and comfortable up under his care, Dr. Ward is not a good Physician at all he’s a great Physician! and i would recommend Dr. Ward to anyone who’s searching for an excellent top of line Physician, and that he is! i can honestly say Dr. Ward truly cares about his patients healthcare over all, and that’s what’s makes a truly difference up under the care of Dr. Dustin Ward.
