I am sorry to have to give Dr. Sloan and the Spokane Valley Urology such a low mark, I believe he and his staff are under a lot of pressure due to having lost two of your Urologist doctors, leaving them very short staffed, that was why he told me it had taken nearly two months to get an appointment, even though two of their staff that makes the appointments, when I described my condition, said I needed to talk to the nurse that if your case is serious enough, could move you appointment up, but I could never get an answer bake to the voice messages I left, accept once to an old phone number I didn’t think they had that was no long monitored. Every time I called, I left my cell phone number in the message, but even when I left another message to explain that, she never returned my call even though the Emergency Room doctor had told me I needed to see a hematologist as soon as possible, since some internal bleeding was involved, I still had to wait. Took over 3 months, daily unanswered calls, 4 Urology office cancellations of scheduled events, to receive a short office visit. After my healthcare provider had referred me to this office following hospitalization, this doctor farmed me out to a third party after cancelling 4 different scheduled events. I had to go through the referral process again to get proper approval & coverage for his orders to the third party. So what began months ago in hospital, my 1st meeting with this doctor occured end of July. I was to be seen within 5 days after discharge in April.
