Dr. Wiggins earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. After completing his residency at the Scott and White Hospital and Clinic in Temple, Texas, Dr. Wiggins became fellowship trained in Laser Refractive Surgery at the International Eyecare Laser Center in Houston, Texas.
Prior to joining Quigley Eye Specialists, Dr. Wiggins spent 17 years practicing ophthalmology at the prestigious Eye Associates of New Mexico where he performed thousands of cataract and laser procedures. Becoming one of the most skilled surgeons in his field, Dr. Wiggins is licensed in Florida, New Mexico and Texas. He is also the proud recipient of the TLC Laser Vision Milestone Award as well as many other awards.
Married with four lovely children, Dr. Wiggins enjoys spending time with family and exploring the great outdoors with activities such as camping, hiking, snow skiing, and biking. Now that he and his family live in beautiful Naples, Dr. Wiggins is excited about incorporating water sports into their outdoor adventures. When he is not spending time with family or caring for patients, you might find him at the gym, as physical fitness is extremely important to Dr. Wiggins.

Dr Wiggins did my cataract surgery on both my eyes. He was very professional and took the time to explain all my options clearly. I didn't feel I was rushed as I had questions regarding the various lenses and their successes. I did mono vision as I had worn mono vision contacts in the past. Surgeries went very well. The staff at the surgery center were very friendly and helpful also.
