We could have handled this problem over the phone but Dr. Pahl made sure I understood what my options were for surgery with a physician who specializes in a surgery he doesn’t perform. Excellent referral process

Dr. Pahl diagnosed my situation immediately after examining the x-rays. Other doctors failed to assess the issue but Dr. Pahl offered 3 methods for treatment. I certainly recommend him.

Dr.Pahl is always pleasant and takes time to get to know you, and is so very competent in what he does for the spine. He knows how to blend conservative care with best practices and surgical options.

That Paul was friendly to start off with. It was very efficient and showing us the scans that I was having a problem with, but when he started asking questions and I would start to answer, he would interrupt me. Finally after the third or fourth question he interrupted me again and said that he wanted yes or no answers, and it was OK if the answers were yes or no. When I tried to ask him questions, he would interrupt. He spoke so fast so he ended up repeating himself sometimes. in the end, he finally slowed down, and we agreed on the next step and treatment. I believe he is very confident doctor, unfortunately his communication skills with his patience, or at least with me were lacking.

Dr. Paul is very down to earth and talks to you as a real person. He makes you feel like you're with a friend who just happens to be a fantastic Orthopedic surgeon.
