Dr. Douglas Hartzler has more than 20 years of experience serving patients as a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in joint replacement, sports injuries, and complex reconstruction. Dr. Hartzler received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and he also completed a general surgery internship with Hennepin County General Hospital in Minneapolis. Dr. Hartzler later performed his orthopedic residency with Maricopa Medical Center Department of Surgery in Phoenix. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the Maricopa County Medical Society and the Arizona Medical Association.
