Dr. Douglas Hartzler has more than 20 years of experience serving patients as a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in joint replacement, sports injuries, and complex reconstruction. Dr. Hartzler received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and he also completed a general surgery internship with Hennepin County General Hospital in Minneapolis. Dr. Hartzler later performed his orthopedic residency with Maricopa Medical Center Department of Surgery in Phoenix. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the Maricopa County Medical Society and the Arizona Medical Association.

This surgeon is amazing. From his bedside manner to his ability are beyond what I expected. I would use him again and I would highly recommend him to others.
Didn't get to meet the doc,but his PA was delightful. The wait, however, was very long and I almost had to leave because my 3 hours of oxygen were getting close to being gone.
Dr. Hartzler is always kind and empathetic and explains things in a way that you can understand easily.
