Dr. McDonald specializes in treating a wide range of spinal conditions with both surgical and non-surgical techniques. His main priority is providing patient centered care that improves his patient’s quality of life.
His specialties include minimally invasive and complex spine surgery, degenerative spinal disorders, AI-driven custom 3D printed implants, artificial lumbar/cervical disc replacement, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and fusion, and lateral and anterior spinal surgery. He has a strong interest in utilizing robotic and image-guided technology to enhance precision and safety in spine surgery.
His research has been featured in several peer-reviewed publications and national presentations. Outside of work, Dr. McDonald is passionate about giving back through community service and mentoring. Dr.McDonald is a very caring physician he understood my pain and gave me options for my condition.He spent time with me going over MRI and explained my procedure .
Very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the best treatment(s).
