Dr. Donald Pomeroy completed his residency training at the University of Cincinnati. He attended fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. He has extensive expertise in hip and knee replacement as well as complicated revision surgery. Dr. Pomeroy is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Louisville Department of Orthopedics. He is co-director of the Arthroplasty Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to clinical research for joint replacements. He received the "Top Doctor" award per The Louisville Magazine in 2005, 2007, 2012, 2013 and 2015 by his peers. He is married to his wife Susan and enjoys hunting, gardening, and fishing.
