Dr. Domenick Sisto is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the care of athletically active adults with injuries or disorders of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Sisto earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and his medical degree from the George Washington University Medical School.
Following a general surgery internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital, he completed an orthopaedic residency at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. His formal training was concluded with a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Sisto is a respected authority on the treatment of the knee and shoulder, and he has pioneered the renowned non-surgical treatment regimen used by Los Angeles Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Sisto’s groundbreaking clinical research has formed the basis for numerous contributions to peer-reviewed journals and books.

He is a truly exceptional doctor; his experience and professionalism ensure successful outcomes for his patients. Personally, I have received—and continue to receive—his comprehensive care. I want to emphasize that he truly listens to you and instills a sense of confidence that everything will turn out well, both before and after surgery; moreover, he personally oversees every aspect of the surgical procedures and treatment with meticulous attention. Dr. Sisto is an amazing surgeon. I have been seen by several previous doctors, and Sisto has been the most thorough, patient, empathetic, attentive, doctor yet. I am so lucky I found him for my doctor. He is truly an Angel.
