He attempted to relax the atmosphere. This is important to me because it shows he wants me to be comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazingly wonderful! From the time I walked in the intake person was so wonderful I wanted her to accompany me to the surgery room. All were great but she was with me from the time I arrived until I was pushed to the emergency. It was great seeing Marcia. We talked as she pushed me to the vehicle. I love and appreciate ALL of you. I pray you treat all patients in this manner!! Awesome treatment all around. I understand why Doc is so good. He has a great pre-op team!!!

He listened to how I felt and wants to do what's best. He gave options and his opinion on said options but left the choice up to me. Or he at least made me feel I had choices. He is very sincere in my wellbeing and quality of life. Thank you to his staff for always smiling and helping you feel important.

He truly shows concern and understanding of your current condition. He always takes time to listen to your concerns and is willing to do anything to help your pain and discomfort. During residency and fellowship, Dr. Dmitri Sofianos received comprehensive training from the Departments of Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Surgery in all aspects of spine care, from motion preservation correction surgery to the latest minimally invasive techniques and state-of-the-art instrumentation for both the cervical and lumbar spine. Additionally, he treats a wide range of muscular and skeletal trauma.
Dr. Sofianos has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters on orthopaedic and spine surgery. With AOspine North America, he has helped develop a software database to track and report patient outcomes to improve spine care. Additionally, he has been welcomed internationally as a visiting surgeon and educator in various countries, including Burma, Australia and Ghana.
Dr. Sofianos has a special interest in treatment of the ageing spine and motion preservation procedures in the cervical and lumbar spine, including disc replacement, laminoplasty and minimally invasive microsurgery.
