Dhanalakshmi Senniappan, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician with over 17 years of experience providing comprehensive care for children and adolescents. She completed her pediatric residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Michigan (2015–2018) and earned her medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Senniappan has a special interest in newborn care, childhood nutrition, asthma management, and acute sick visits. Her approach to care is grounded in partnership, empathy, and education, with a focus on listening closely, honoring each family’s values, and creating care plans that are both evidence-based and practical for daily life.
Originally from India, Dr. Senniappan values community and connection. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, and cooking. She and her husband have a 15-year-old son.
