Dr. Denis Jorgensen is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in joint replacement procedures, including total knee and hip replacement surgery, sports medicine, including sports and exercise-related injuries, shoulder injuries, and instability, hip arthroscopy, and knee injuries.
Dr. Jorgensen enjoys working with our youth covering sporting events and providing athletic screenings for high school and college athletes and is the team physician for the Tattnall Square Academy Trojans. He has acted as a team physician for the University of South Alabama football team and as event physician for mixed martial arts competitions in Ocean Beach, Alabama.
Dr. Jorgensen has authored multiple research studies presented at the American College of Sports Medicine, The Clinical Orthopaedic Society, and the Colorado Orthopaedic Society. He holds current medical licenses in Georgia and Alabama.
