Procedure: Cervical epidural injection with catheter.
Doctor Harris was very thorough on explaining the procedure step by step with a visual explination using a spine replica.
Doctor Harris was very careful on inserting the needle and catheter. He explained every step during the proceedure and made the procedure as comfortable as possible.
Every step, he explained what I should expect to feel begore he began that step. I personally appreciate knowing what to expect as his method eliminates anxiety completely. His bedside manner is also very comforting during the procedure.
Every single prior experience I have had with him has been excellent and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing these types of treatments.

Dr. Harris grew up in East Tennessee and went to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He then attended the Quillen College of Medicine where he received his MD degree and then he completed his Anesthesiology residency at the University of Florida.
He returned to Knoxville and has been a pioneer in the field of Pain Management and Interventional Pain Medicine for the last 30 years. He was among the first Physicians in Tennessee when he received certification from both societies (ABA and ABPM) in 1995.
Dr. Harris has been among the first in our region to offer many new procedures and services over the last three decades and continues to add the most current strategies and procedures available. In February of 2020 Dr. Harris received his CIPS certification (Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist). This is a very exclusive certification and has only been granted to 20 physicians in the U.S. at this time. This signifies advanced certification in ultrasound evaluations and ultrasound guided procedures for pain related problems. He and the staff at Harris Clinic are dedicated to our mission which is to provide compassionate, advanced and appropriate care for our patients.
