He continued to advance his training through fellowships in cardiovascular disease at Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio where he passed the American Board of Medicine cardiovascular disease exam as well as the National Board of Echocardiography Inc. certification exam. He pursued further training in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Throughout his career, Dr. Shah has been actively involved in research, contributing to numerous publications and presentations in medical forums. His interests span various areas of cardiology, including advanced heart failure, cardiomyopathies, left ventricular assist device (LVAD) and transplant cardiology, hemodynamic guided therapies, cardio-obstetrics, and acute coronary syndromes.
Dr. Shah is passionate about serving his community and promoting healthcare education. He has volunteered at health fairs, served as a physical therapy assistant at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and participated in programs such as the Cancer Buddy Program at Akron Children’s Hospital. He is a member of various organizations, including the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America, among others.
