Prior to joining Quigley Eye Specialists, Dr. McCracken specialized in the education and all aspects of care of refractive surgery patients. She also performs comprehensive eye examinations and assists in the management of patients enrolled as FDA study participants.Dr. McCracken is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Florida Optometric Association. She is also the author of research articles which have appeared in the Journal of Ocular Pharmacology.

Dr. McCracken grew up in Toledo, Ohio, and started practicing in South Florida in 1994. She and her daughter enjoy attending sporting events together and their multiple animals.
Fun Facts
Dr. McCracken’s parents had five kids in a row that, coincidentally, matched in both age and gender with her aunt and uncle’s kids that lived nearby. But when she was born—number six—her aunt and uncle got a dog instead!

Dr. McCracken enjoys boating and the warm South Florida weather. She also has an octopus collection (Krakens).

I was very impressed with Dr. Mc Cracken's calm demeanor. She was very articulate and informative regarding my examination and took the time to give me additional information particularly regarding my Dry Eye condition.I had every confidence in the information and would recommend her highly. The staff at the office were patient, also informative and very pleasant. I will certainly recommend Quigley Eye Specialists to friends living in the area🙂
