Dr. Mason repaired my wife’s broken femur about 7 years ago, so I chose to have him do my right knee replacement. He is the best.I highly recommend him for any kind of orthopedic surgery you need done.

Dr Mason is absolutely amazing.

He seemed to be in a hurry. He spent less than 5 minutes with me, which I don't think is enough time to understand what my problem was. He didn't seem to like my challenging questions. He left in a hurry and said he would order it. This is not the first time he has acted like thus.

I made the appointment, explained in detail the issues with my HAND, explained that I need the same surgery I had on MY OTHER HAND, she asked me questions about my HAND and sent me to a surgeon to look at my HAND..... Dr. Mason WHO ONLY DOES SHOULDERS AND KNEES!!!! Waste of time and fuel. SO I have another appointment in 2 weeks with Dr. Barbour and I'm "HOPEFUL". We'll see. However, Dr. Mason is, a delightful professional judging from our two minute encounter.

Dr. Mason explained what issues I was dealing with and that surgery is the last option. Using a system to stretch a muscle may help instead of surgery. Informative and listens and surgery is always the last resort.

He is very professional, very nice, and very thorough.

Dr. Mason has always rendered excellent care for knees, trigger finger, and shoulder problems.

While he was very personable & professional, I was less than impressed with his decision to leave my 7 year old son's arm in an ace bandage splint for 2 full weeks. He broke both bones in his forearm, had it set in the ER (which the x-rays from today look as though it has shifted back out to some degree, leaving a bow as noted by Dr. Mason) and knowing my son, he will without a doubt re-injure between now & 2 weeks from now when he FINALLY gets a cast put on. I expressed my concerns to Dr. Mason but was essentially ignored. As I said, he had a likeable demeanor but his decision to leave a rambunctious 7 year old boy in no more than an ace bandage and sling for 2 additional weeks left MUCH to be desired, in my opinion.

My daughter broker her wrist and we went to see Dr Mason. He was very kind to her. We didn’t wait too long in the lobby, fast service and nice staff.

Was not helpful at all and didn’t even consider my pain. Very unprofessional and sat in the room 8 minutes the entire time. Spent $60 dollars and just referred me to another specialist. Not coming back here.

Dr. Mason is a very good Doctor, and excellent surgeon. Very kind and compassionate. A rare find these days.

Dr. Mason was 5 stars, but one of my charges was put against someone else's account, and my prescription was not called until I followed up several hours later.

Patient portal makes it easy to communicate with staff. Set appointment request prior authorization and done. In and out of office in 20 minutes with injection and questions answered. Doesn’t get much better

I had my first knee done in bham, and the waiting room looked like a sports hall of fame. And contemplated going back to have my other knee done. NO NEED, Dr Mason was great. He had surgery scheduled a week after initial appt. And I think I actually recovered faster this time. I highly recommend him.

Staff, cold, unfriendly. This was my 89 yr old mothers first visit, in which she is having pain in her arm. We were referred to Dr.Mason after her visit to the ER. His bedside manner is cold and rushed. Until I got upset, he offered no diagnosis, just, “I’ll give her a shot for pain” then turned to walk out. I do NOT recommend him, and we will NOT go back!

I just completed my second orthopaedic surgery with Dr. Mason and it was fantastic. I never have complications and the procedures are always just as he explains. He's a great doctor and surgeon.

Dr. Mason has been my go-to orthopaedic physician for many years and I trust him completely. He and his nurse, Pam, are very caring and will listen to you as you describew your "ailment!"

Love the group. The day I saw Dr Mason was a busy day at office and he didn’t spend very much time with me.

Seems very knowledgeable, acts professional, listens to you, answers questions. Pleasant demeanor.

Told me nothing showed up in my x-rays as I probably had tendentious in my left shoulder. Gives me a shot to help with the pain an was to place a prescription with my pharmacy to no avail. Now I read my record showing a torn rotor cuff. 😠

Dr. Mason has a great bedside manner yet is very professional and very educated on latest techniques. He is a great surgeon. However I feel he is conservative and tries every treatment possible before going to surgery.
