Dr. Dean Mason graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering-construction and received his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Mason completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of South Alabama.

Dr. Mason offers OMNIBotics, a robotic-assisted total knee replacement technology designed to relieve the pain caused by joint degeneration due to osteoarthritis. Dr. Mason utilizes intelligent robotic navigation technology to map patient geometry and plan implant alignment in real time. The robotic cutting guide helps guide the surgeon to make his planned resections to great accuracy, potentially improving implant longevity and patient satisfaction.
Dr. Mason lives in Orange Beach with his wife Traci and three children. Dr. Mason is the team physician for Gulf Shores High School and is a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Beach.
