I visited this provider for a consultation to review my MRI and ongoing knee pain. While the MRI was reviewed, I felt the communication during the visit was unprofessional. I was told I should “look for another job” due to my current pain and limitations, without a clear explanation of my functional capacity or treatment guidance. There was also a comment made regarding insurance payments that felt inappropriate and not relevant to the medical discussion. As a patient, I came seeking clarity about my condition, pain, and ability to continue working in a physically demanding job. Instead, I left feeling dismissed rather than properly evaluated or guided. I believe medical discussions should remain focused on diagnosis, functional limitations, and treatment options, especially when patients are dealing with ongoing pain and work concerns.
We are extremely happy with Dr Varkey. He is the best. Dr Varkey and all the staff are the best. They always want the best for us. They always address any concerns we have. We wouldn't go anywhere else. So thankful for Dr Varkey.
