Dr. Schroder is one of the best doctors I have seen. He was honest & direct that my knee wasn’t going to be fixed after 1 surgery, which I found oddly comforting. He always takes his time, explaining everything & I’ve never felt like an afterthought. I feel very lucky to have him in charge of my knees for the next 20 yrs.

Not only is Dr. Schroeder a perfectionist in the OR (!), but he has a comforting bedside manner that put me at ease through two hip replacements. I'm now back to my old fast-paced self and I will forever be grateful to Dr. Schroeder!

A graduate of the US Naval Academy and Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Schroder trained in orthopaedic surgery at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
Dr. Schroder has had extensive experience in all areas of orthopaedics during his tenure at Naval Medical Center San Diego, Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan, and most recently as Assistant Department Head and Clinical Operations Officer of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Serving as Commander in the US Navy, Dr. Schroder provided surgical care to our wounded warriors both at home and in Afghanistan as well as executive care for our nation’s leaders of the Pentagon, Congress, and the White House.
