I was so impressed with David's expertise in Functional Medicine and the Body Mechanics; he knew exactly what was going on with my back and really focused on presenting me with my treatment options, being a self pay patient! He really cared about how I wanted to move forward with my treatment plan and educated me on exercises and self care treatments I can do at home in between visits. It was refreshing to be handled by a care practioner that actually listened and cared about what I wanted for my recovery and feel total trust in his care!

Dr,Swain help me tremendously with neck, shoulder pain along with MUA (manipulation under anesthesia) was a game changer for me.I would recommend his treatment to anyone. Thank you Dr Swain & Dr Sullivan!

Dr. Swain received his undergraduate degree from WMU in Kalamazoo, MI and his graduate degree at NUHS in Chicago, IL. While at NUHS, he was student president of the sports medicine and rehabilitation program and vice president of the student-run Motion Palpation Institute. Dr. Swain is fellowship trained in manipulation under anesthesia. He also has training in Cox flexion distraction and manual soft tissue techniques, as well as evaluation and management of musculoskeletal disorders using the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.
