I would say he is one of the best in his field. He listened carefully to my concerns, understood my daughter’s situation, and explained everything in a very clear and detailed manner. He answered all of my questions, not only about her current condition but also about what to expect in the future.
I also asked about my baby girl and whether she could potentially have the same issue. He explained that it could happen and recommended an ultrasound for her as a precaution. I truly appreciate his patience, knowledge, and willingness to address all of my concerns. I felt heard, informed, and reassured after speaking with him. I highly recommend him!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Spence at Campbell Clinic! He was great with our son and really took the time to listen to our concerns, thoroughly examine him, and explain exactly what he believed was going on. He even took the time to draw everything out for us so we could better understand the issue and what was causing it. We never felt rushed, and he answered all of our questions. The staff was also wonderful, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire visit. We were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Dr. Spence!

He is an assistant professor at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedics and serves as an active member of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. Dr. Spence has contributed to multiple textbooks and is actively engaged in research that has been published in many peer-reviewed journals.
