Dr. David Simpson is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine, as well as a special interest in fracture care. Dr. Simpson has advanced training in arthroscopic hip surgery and is one of the few orthopedic surgeons in the entire state of Florida to perform this surgical procedure. I had an appointment for 930 to see Dr. Simpson and it was 1015 and still he had not been in yo see me. It was very nice that the PA, Rick came in and said he could see me or I can wait for the doctor. If you have a 930 appointment, I could understand waiting 15 minutes, but 45 minutes is uncalled for. My time is just as precious as the doctors.

I am a recently retired US Army Special Operations Soldier, after serving for 19 years to say it mildly I did a number on my body, I just had a first Pre-Op appointment with Dr. Simpson in regards to my rotator cuff repair shoulder surgery and I have to say he is above and beyond, when it comes to explaining exactly what’s going on as well as what’s the best route for me as the patient to take, including my wife as well in all aspects of decision-making was she greatly appreciated. Great personality, combined with obvious copious amounts of knowledge in the orthopedic field works for me!!! Dr. Simpson earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed both his internship in general surgery and orthopedic residency at Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston. In addition, Dr. Simpson completed an arthroscopy and sports medicine fellowship at the San Diego Center for Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Simpson has served as a team physician for several sports teams and events, including the US Professional Beach Volleyball Tour and US World Cup Soccer Team. He served as an adjunct professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Dr. Simpson’s research is published in several peer-reviewed journals, and he is a national presenter.
