I called as a new patient and scheduled my appointment for an initial evaluation with the doctor, but I never met Dr. Simpson. Instead, the PA examined, diagnosed, and treated me. This is not at all what I expected but I guess it's the way things are done these days. I'm sure the PA is quite competent and qualified, but when I schedule an appointment with a doctor, that is what I am expecting to receive. I wish they had informed me up front so it would have been my decision. Also, they told me to show up for my appointment at 7:45 AM, which I did punctually. But they didn't even unlock their doors until 8 AM. Why tell me to come early if you're just going to make me stand around in the hallway outside for 15 minutes? I'm giving this the benefit of the doubt. We'll see how things turn out as I progress with my treatment

He explained everthing wonderful but by the evening after the shot, I couldn’t walk severe pain on top of knee. This morning still pain and now worse in rear of knee. Hopefully after three days I will have some relief. Needed walker to move. Guess it is really bad.

I did not see the doctor who I made the appointment with and I assumed I was seeing saw rik the p a Had a cortisone shot in my knee not in the spot I had pain to me an unconventional approach and was only explained as he inserted needle P A seemed competent and knowledgeable but between not seeing dr and unorthodox injection site a little miffed to say the least. We’ll see if it’s effective in the next few days or so

Thought Dave would be seeing me a week after surgery but not the case. However, still think highly of him.

Always there to do whatever it takes

We never saw Dr. Simpson. He did read my mom’s x ray but he did not introduce himself. Instead the evaluation and treatment were given by Physician Assistant Rick Morsch who is superb!

He’s always thorough and caring and he takes him time with his patients. His patients know they are in good hands.

The dr never came in, just the pa. I made an appt for dr Simpson. I also found when I got there at least 3 people had same time appt w/dr S. I asked and was told I will be charged same for pa as if I saw dr S. Not a good experience, pretty pissed when I left.

He’s amazing! He understood exactly what was wrong with my knee and explained how to treat the problem. I left out of his office walking with out pain after he injected my knee. I couldn’t believe he even injected it. I did not feel a pinch.

Great doctor and staff

He repaired my rotator cuff and my right shoulder about 14 years ago. Then he reattached my bicep back to the shoulder. Now he’s going to do my left shoulder. There’s no one else that I would trust. He gets me back up and lifting quickly. PA Rick is also fantastic along with the whole crew at his office.

Dr. Simpson is very personable. He takes the time to answered all my questions. And treated me like I was his only patient.

I have been a patient of center for bone and joint for the passed 3 or 4 months and dr simpson is the dr i was scheduled with. I never met the man Rick, his PA, is very knowledgeable and caring. Yesterday I went for my appointment. For some reason, I was asked for my ID and insurance card which they have on file since this was my third visit. I only had pictures of those documents on my phone since I didn’t have my wallet with me. I was then told I would have to make a different appointment because without those documents they couldn’t verify my insurance. I have never been to a dr whose office didn’t pre check my insurance prior to my appointment. So I couldn’t see Rick or dr simpson yesterday. Although I appreciate the care Rick provided, I will not return because of the incompetence of the office staff.

Visited the doctor tor tendinitis, I believe I saw the PA but never the doctor. Gave me a cortisone shot and put ice for the day. Rick was very efficient, empathetic. I hardly ever see Dr Simpson. The radiologist was also empathetic and efficient. However the waiting room was over crowded. I also noticed that the examining room floors were worn and not very clean looking. Time to get new floors or change the cleaning company!!

The have stabilized my knee issues and they maintain my ability to play tennis 6 days a week.! I’m 77 years old.

Never got to see him. Made the appointment to see Simpson and only got to see a PA, Simpson wasn't there!!!

Dr. Simpson is the Best orthopedic surgeon. He takes the time to talk to you and is always straight forward. He is so knowledgeable and beyond skilled at what he does.

Schedule with the doctor gets you the PA. If you schedule an appointment with the doctor, you should see the doctor. The PA should assist the doctor not replace him!
