I have been with the good doctors at GVI for nearly 20yrs - formerly D’ville Eye Clinic. Always professional, top to bottom, with very clear, thorough explanations of my eye health. I recommended my wife and 97yr old mother-in-law to Dr Hemmings.
The doctor was excellent But you can tell the techs aren’t trained. They don’t know how to check pupils, refract, confrontational fields, check angles, pressure, use the machines, nothing. Why not properly train the techs? You can’t put an auto refraction as the manifest refraction and charge people $40 for that. That’s not a real refraction.. lots and lots of room for improvement. It’s a disservice to the patients and the doctors.
Visiting Dr. Hemmings, as always at his office has been like visiting family through the years. his great attention to detail and the services team provides five star plus service
