Dr Rush saw my Xray in the ER and very proactively saw me in clinic that afternoon and was on the surgery schedule the following day. He is a confident, patient communicator explaining each phase of Rx well, allowing questions. He is a very knowledgeable, skilled surgeon. I had an excellent outcome and have had an opportunity to recommend him to others. Dr Rush was very kind and positive as was his PA and staff.

Very thorough, asked lots of questions. Diagnosis was right on target and saved me lots of pain and time in a cast. Emergency Room in Norman said I had a fractured wrist but Dr Rush's diagnosis kept me out of a cast for many weeks. Much appreciated and would recommend.

I was left in the room for an hour. I was finally seen when I went into the hall and said I was leaving. Dr Rush is wonderful, but they are obviously overbooking spots. It’s frustrating that doctor’s offices think THEIR time is the only one that’s valuable.

Dr. Is very caring and considerate of the patients concerns and takes the time to discuss and explain the situation.
Dr. David Rush wants to see patients get back to their day-to-day activities. Many patients arrive in his practice with pain, dysfunction, and debilitation which limits movement and overall ability to function. Dr. Rush's goal is to restore function and get patients back to where they were before problems ensued. Whether non-operative or operative care, Dr. Rush works with all of his patients to make their experience the best it can possibly be. He makes sure patients feel welcome, comfortable, and that he and his staff are readily available from day one. His mother worked in a physician's office that modeled compassionate, hometown care. He applies those same values within his orthopedic practice. Dr. Rush enjoys spending time outdoors whenever he gets the opportunity. His favorite activities include duck hunting, fishing, archery, and snow skiing.
