Dr. David Rhoads attended the University of Louisville where he received a bachelors in Physical Therapy. He then completed medical school at the University of Louisville. Dr. Rhoads completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Henry Ford Health Systems in Detroit, MI. He attended fellowship training in shoulder, hip and knee replacement at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Dr. Rhoads has received additional training in hip arthroscopy and hip preservation surgery for femoral acetabular impingement and anterior hip replacement surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Rhoads has also received the "Top Doctor" award by The Louisville Magazine in 2015. His outside interests include spending time with his wife Shiela and his three children and woodworking.
