Dr. Remias was excellent. In a brief tome he (aided by some assistants)showed me the actual Xrays of my knees. He explained what was happening very, very well. He gave me a number of option and ai chose injection with various mechanical options as possibilities. He signed me up for a follow-up in a month. He also referred me to their physical therapy unit. My first PT session is in 2 days. I was very much surprised by the efficient and caring treatment I received from everyone in the office. This was an overall successsful experiences for me.

Doctor seemed nice, and friendly, but he contradicted everything the PA that sent me said. From what my MRI showed, the injections are being pushed again for a condition that can't be helped with injections. Not happy with SOS as they all seem to push injections (Orthopedic surgeon had it open before we even did an MRI) it appears for the money. I was warned of this, by others, and should of believed it. Every SOS doctor acts rushed. Hard to get your questions in.

👍🏼: He seemed thorough with the exam and explained my situation well which is good. Overall good bedside manners (unlike the last doc I saw at SE Ortho). 👎🏼: Wait time in the exam room was excessive. On top of that doc was impatient with my questions after the exam and his explanation of the results. Is this bc of the doc or because SE Ortho as a group tell physicians to limit time with patient to a mere15 minutes which is uncalled for considering the $$ cost to the patient. This brings me to limiting the appt. to only one body part when doc is trained in more than one body part. It’s like a racket particularly considering the cost of a doctor office visit.

Starting with the administrative and medical staff, they were well above my expectations. I definitely recommend completing all paperwork before hand as it made for such a smooth process. I had just sat down for my appointment and they were already ready for me, by the time I had my x-rays Cathleen was ready for me to do the initial screening. Dr. Remias came in and went straight to it, after having been to an urgent care facility and waiting for days, he was able to give me a diagnosis and what to expect with further treatment. Only issue is that Dr. Remias talks very fast so it takes a while to realize what he just told you. Otherwise, his treatment plan was good and we would use him again.

This was my first appointment with Dr Remias and the appointment was on time and he listen to my reasons for seeing him and gave me the game plan what he was going to do next and that after certain tests were complete we would have a discussion for the next step. Very friendly attitude but no wasting time.

He asked me my history of problems. He worked my shoulder and said you have a lot of arthritis and gave me a steroid shot and it was gone. He said that should last 3 months but hopefully longer.

I’ve seen Doc Remias several times for shoulder pain with great results. I’ve never had cortisone shots with no pain to very slight pain but did with the Doc. When asking about results of previous appointments he says “don’t make me feel good” did I help you or not.
